  • Following the SCSBC guidelines, a full-time teacher’s salary ranges from $52,432 to $90,559, depending on education, category qualifications, and teaching experience. We offer an excellent compensation package that includes an 8.05% pension, a premium dental plan, and extended health benefits.

  • Following the SCSBC guidelines, a full-time EA ranges from $25,080 – $33,192, depending on education, category qualifications, and experience. We have an excellent compensation package of 8.05% pension, a premium dental plan, and extended health benefits.

The King’s School enjoys a low staff turnover rate, yet due to our recent growth—and the province-wide demand for quality Christian educators—opportunities exist. Here is a summary of employment features at TKS:

  • Applicants should demonstrate a genuine relationship with Christ and a pedagogy that reflects a biblical worldview. To be considered for the role, candidates should possess relational attributes, strong classroom management skills, and a passion for pursuing Christ. Teachers should hold—or be in the process of acquiring—a valid BC Teaching Certificate.

  • Applicants should demonstrate a genuine relationship with Christ and a pedagogy that reflects a biblical worldview. SETA or SEA certification and related experience are preferred. Experience in BI work is an asset.

    EA positions are suited to someone who can work collaboratively, take initiative, modify and adapt work, as well as build relationships with students and staff.
