TKS Capital Campaign

The King’s School’s leadership team is privileged to launch a major capital campaign to serve local families and their children. The acronym—“Bee”—alludes to the great challenge of building a new school facility and the compelling reasons for doing so.

To Build

After more than four decades of faithfully providing solid Christian Education from wood-frame buildings constructed in the 1970s, it is time to build. Clearly.

THE CHALLENGE

To Extend

Extending the scope of The King’s School’s impressive Christian curriculum and increasing the number of families it serves is a noble task. With new facilities, we can do more and reach more.

THE REASONS

To Endure

We know the Lord’s love endures forever and His mercies to all generations. As Christian educators, we are privileged to play our part in this eternal truth and run the race set before us with Christ-like endurance.

Phase 1

The first phase of the capital campaign involves moving our preschool—The King’s Early Learning Centre—from the south end of the property to the north, nearer to the elementary campus.

  • This move initially called for a new, prefabricated facility to be erected adjacent to the gym at a projected cost of $850,000.

  • The school board is currently exploring other more cost-effective plans to integrate our preschool population with the rest of the school. Each dollar saved in this effort will be redirected to advance the start of Phase 2 of our capital campaign.

Phase 2

The second phase of Bee is the most significant step taken by The King’s School since its opening in 1982: The construction of a new elementary and preschool campus

Plans and details for Phase 2 will be shared as Phase 1 nears completion.
