Session A
Are you seeking effective tools and techniques to enhance your students’ literacy? Learn how UFLI, a research-driven program out of the University of Florida, has proven successful. UFLI provides a systematic approach to teaching phonics-based literacy, and we have already seen great results at our school!

Session B
Once you know the curricular objectives and general overview of the UFLI early literacy curriculum, it can seem overwhelming to try and implement! At this session, you will gain practical skills to help you organize and prepare your delivery. Not only will you have greater understanding and knowledge, but you will leave with helpful tools to get you started successfully.

Get Going with Geocaching

Geocaching is a popular educational activity that you can use in the outdoor classroom at your school. More importantly, it is also a beautiful way to encourage student discovery and appreciation of God’s wonderful creation. Bring your "outdoor shoes" and dress appropriately for the weather.

PHE Workshop: Sport Education Model
PHE doesn’t have to be the same old games, drills, and exercises! You can make it come alive by teaching with the SEM, an instructional model that turns “gym” class into a thrilling sports adventure where students dive into real-world sports experiences, teamwork, and friendly competition. This is an excellent model of teaching that is inclusive and builds school spirit and community. Prepare to be active, have fun, and wear your runners!

Google has many tools that teachers should use to enhance their classrooms. In this session, you will cover all the features of Google Drive and how to use Google Docs, Sheets, and Forms effectively. Teachers should bring their laptops to maximize their learning.
